- Recognising and avoiding predatory journals
- Writing the title and abstract
- Constructing the introduction: how to demonstrate the gap in the literature
- Transparency and reproducibility in the method section
- Presenting results: designing tables and figures
- The discussion: positioning your finding without overstating it
- Using the limitations section to your advantage
- Writing an effective cover letter
- Preparing a response to reviewers and strategy after a rejection
- Publication ethics: authorship, plagiarism, data sharing
